The warranty of a drive is also a crucial element in your decision process. Some drives offer 5-year warranties, while others might offer only 3. Think about how often you usually switch out hard drives and determine whether or not you need a long warranty or a shorter one. Consider that a hard drive with a long warranty might just be better quality as well.
