Lexmark S 1620 And Lexmark S 1620 Toner Offer Excellent Print Quality
The Lexmark S 1620 is another one of Lexmark’s masterpieces. Lexmark has a history of producing high quality printers and this one is no different. The Lexmark printer has been designed for durability and expandability. This printer has been designed with the small to large office in mind. Its fast page per minute speed is enough to keep all printer hungry people happy with the output.
One of the things I noticed about the Lexmark S 1620 is that it’s a rather cost effective printer when compared to other printers that have similar features. Features alone, however, shouldn’t be your reason to buy the printer because what really needs to be looked at is print quality. After all, you don’t want a printer with tons of features but mediocre print quality.
Probably the best thing about a Lexmark S 1620 printer with compatible Lexmark S 1620 Toner is that it’s far cheaper than all the other printers that have the same functions and features. Even though I believe that features and functions are not something you should primarily look at in a printer since a printer needs to be more about print quality than anything else.
The good thing about the 1620 is that it accommodates many sheets of paper, enough so that running to load the tray to finish a job it eliminated. If, however, you still need more space, you can always include the optional Lexmark paper tray. I have always felt frustrated when it was my turn to print and the printer ran out of paper, but it’s my guess that this should keep even the busiest office paper full for the whole day.
This particular printer, however, does not really incorporate any cutting edge features. If I had to guess, it would be because it’s not very expensive. That doesn’t change the fact that it does the job of producing excellent prints. I went ahead and tested the printer using S 1620 Cartridge on a number of documents to see how it performed.
We began by testing the Lexmark printer by printing out a few text pages. The text came out crisp and bright so we decided to test it out on a few mixed pages i.e., a page in which text and graphics were mixed. The result of this was that the text reproduced fine except for a few minor problems with the graphics that made it seem washed out. Another thing was that the printer took a while to print out graphics, which is not a very good thing if you tend to do lots of graphic printing.
The text looked great and low-resolution clipart shined. This is why I would say that it’s more of a text printer than anything else. We also had to test the printer at high resolutions. It took some time for the printer to begin to warm up, but once it had reached the point where it printed, the printing was pretty fast and impressive. The difference I saw was that of only a few short seconds that the printer took to get started.
