Learn How To Set Up A Profitable Blog In Seven Days

This is my simple demonstration of how amazing having a blog can be to a first time blog owner. A blog can be about any topic and can be set up in many different ways. Let’s go through the process of creating your first blog on any topic you select.

STEP 1: Give your blog a unique name and try to use a keyword you can easily rank for when you choose it. This is important for ranking in the search engines for your topic and branding your website in that niche. Go to a domain name provider and get a domain or you can even use a free blog service such as drupal or blogger but I recommend purchasing your own domain name so you can have your keyword in it.

STEP 2: After you create your website you will need it to have frequently updated content. The search engines love fresh unique content and will reward your site with high rankings depending on your keywords. Getting fresh content to your blog can be a challenge but you have options to make it all easy.

STEP 3: Article sites are a great way to get content for your site without having to write everyday. You can choose from many niches and the articles are all free for you to post on your blog. The only rule you must abide by is keeping the links to the articles intact so that the author gets credit.

STEP 4: After you finish everything check to see if you are using your keywords in your title and body correctly. It will keep your blog posts relevant to the keywords you are trying to get rankings for. Check to see that the keywords you select are not hard for you to rank for and have very few competition.

STEP 5: Now that you have everything running you will need to set up some affiliate links. This can be any advertising program you have signed up with that is relevant to your blog. Put banners and links in your articles and in widgets and anywhere else you have space to place them.

STEP 6: After everything is built you will want to start driving hordes of visitors to your new website. I recommend building your back links from other blogs so you can get things rolling. You can start advertising to message boards, classified ad sites, or link exchanges.

STEP 7: Forums are a great way to get a quick back link to your website and get noticed by search engines. The more links you build the more higher your ranking in the search engines will be. make links over time to the home page as well as your internal pages as well.

STEP 8: As time passes and your back links build you will receive a small in visitors from all those links you made. In about a few weeks you will see your site getting search engine traffic and ranking for your keywords. Keep it up and you will be profiting off your blog and making a steady income online.
