If you want to add hilarious fun to your next dinner party, we’ve got just the idea that will get guests and you enjoying themselves more than they ever expected. Some hosts are concerned about incorporating dinner party games into their dinner parties because they are afraid that their guests might feel on the spot. Let me assure you now that they are secretly wishing for something new to add to the dinner party conversation. You can easily incorporate a new dinner party game into your next dinner party and then find that your guests begin to copy your ideas into their own dinner parties.

Listen, you don’t have to go out and spend a bunch of money for dinner party games like Pictionary, Jenga, or any of the big names. All you have to do is come up with something that will keep your guests entertained and leave you with many compliments by the end of the evening. So today we’re going to share one of the entertaining ideas we know about called; The Word game.

The word game is one of those games that can begin once your guests arrive and continue well into the evening. The best way to incorporate a dinner party game into your dinner party is by making the set up and execution as simple as possible. This is exactly that kind of game because once you set everything up and explain the process, your guests will be able to easily take over and run with it. Your results will be hilarious and easy fun.

The Word Game requires the use of some kind of prop but it is not necessary to spend a lot of money on them. One of the best sources the kind of props that I am referring to is the local dollar store. They have a wealth of inexpensive and fun items that will make this game into the hilarious fun that we are looking to achieve. Try to incorporate a prop or item that fits well with the time of year, the theme of your dinner party or just something silly.

You can either use this prop as part of your invitation and ask each guest to bring it along with them or you can present it them as they enter your home. I would recommend that you not tell the guests what this item is to be used for until you are ready to explain it to everyone to increase the suspense and excitement factor of the game. Don’t be surprised if you find that the prop has sparked conversation long before the game has begun, just because of the curiosity that arises from your guests. Once your guests have arrived and have the prop in their possession, then that is the right time for you to explain what is going on.

Choose a word that is often used in conversations (yes, but, hi, thanks, etc.). Whenever someone you are talking to says the chosen word of the evening, you get their prop. Then whoever collects the most props before you all eat wins the game. The fun part surrounding this is listening to everyone trying to manipulate the others into saying your chosen word.

You are investing your time and energy into hosting your dinner parties and deserve your efforts to result in a good time for all, including yourself. By adding inexpensive and easy to create dinner party games into your dinner parties is like the icing on the cake. There are so many ways that you can add to your guests enjoyment of the evening with dinner table games and conversation starters that you never have to have another boring dinner party ever again. It just becomes a matter of which source of entertainment will you add today?

The end result of all the time and effort you put into your dinner party by adding a new dinner party game or conversation starter will be the laughter and memories that are created. Your evening will live on in the stories of your guests and you will find people begging to return to one of your dinner parties. By adding different and unique dinner party games and conversation starters into all of your dinner parties you will find yourself thinking of new and exciting games and conversations. Your social life will have no where to go but up to higher and higher heights of enjoyment.
